Back with a blast

Ok, the exchange period is over and to be honest I did not really blog that much. I concentrated more on the exchange-experience. So now it's time to change the language and get things going to the Canadian-end to read about my back home-experience.
I've settled home and dealt with the passing of my dad and grandma, which occurred in March me being in Calgary and all the problems and issues being here. Death can be a hassle you know, all the inheritance issues, informing people, burials, and just the sheer idea that the dead will not be there at any point... I actually got this apartment for me the same day my dad passed away, but I'm finally settled to an extent that my walls need something on them, the only thing I have up is my Flames-towel I got from a game when I applied for a credit card, which I wasn't even eligible for. I finally landed a job, and start on thursday UNLESS I get another a bit more interesting one. But one job is sure so my finance is somewhat secure for the summer, finally. What a horrible thing to have, the idea of not having work for the summer, now atleast I am a helpdesk person for a big nordic telecommunications company. More about that when it actually starts.

Talk more about my apartment, a duplex with enough space for me to live in. The walls are papery and my neighbors will thank me, no really, thank me for playing music by banging on the floor (from upstairs) or walls. Tonight I will also have a housewarming party for a few friends. At max I think I happened to invite over 30 people, but I kinda anticipate that most of them will not even bother to come. The only thing that saved my upstairs neighbor from a night of torment and noise is that he moved out today.. I woke up around 9-ish and saw him and his parents haul out his stuff to a van. Smart move, really smart. I just hope it's not a dorm-apartment, because that leaves about 2 more people to the apartment. The night will show. Anyways I have a lot of closet space so I could stuff all my useless things in the closets. I also have my own washer, tv, and privacy and all this for less than I paid for in rez. Especially if you add all the washer-dryer costs to the rent. Of course I had to acquire the utilities, but now I own 'em.

It feels kinda safe to be back home but I still missed the Calgary summer which I hear is really great at best and decent at worst. I have to be back for a week or two to visit the mountains and actually do some ski'ing, hiking, whatnot there. But yes as a vacation, maybe not next year but after that... we'll see.
